Tooth Extractions

A tooth extraction is the process of removing a tooth or tooth parts. There are a number of reasons that teeth need to be extracted including deep cracks, failed restorations, reoccurring endodontic problems, severe decay and extensive crowding.

At the time of the extraction your doctor will administer local anesthesia in order to numb the tooth, jawbone and gum in the area. During the extraction you can expect to feel pressure.

After the extractions have occurred our doctors can possibly provide you with an immediate implant, a bone graft for a future implant or a temporary removable or fixed appliance.
